The June 8, 2008 issue of the newspaper of the Archdiocese of Chicago, The Catholic New World, contains an article about the Servite effort to send aid to Myanmar. The Servite friars and sisters have had a presence in Myanmar for about 75 years. Much financial help, as well as prayers, are needed to rebuild the facilities of their communities and ministries.
